Up and Running, Almost

Mother's day was a good day of church (that is "community" more than I've ever experienced), homemade cards, crumpled carnation :), no cooking, and watching Marley and Me with all the boys on DVD.

Feeling so much better. It looks like the next 4 or so months will be 1 week of chemo and the pits, one week of building back up, one week of doing well, and then we start over again. Makes it difficult to plan your life but it also makes life pretty simple.

Went to Will's 7th grade band concert at Apollo. (Since when do 7th grade bands sound like high school bands used to?) Wore a hat but was in too much of a hurry to grab a scarf to cover the part of my head that the cap didn't. Got some amazing stares so I won't leave home without it (wig) again. At least Will didn't seem to be too chagrined and still walked to the van beside me to go home. You'd think stares wouldn't faze me--Wes and I get so many. Wes is obviously better at handling them than I am.
