It has been good to have Cathy home for a few days. Lots of friends have stopped by to visit and give encouragement. A special thanks to RE for all the work they did this weekend. You are totally unbelievable.
Martha is driving Cathy back to Houston early Wednesday morning. More tests / dr visits. Then assuming all is well she will go into the hospital for intense chemo and transplantation of the stem cells she donated last week. She will be in the hospital for 2-4 weeks. Her immune system will be totally gone during that time. We think she will be able to have visitors during that time, but please check with me before you go. We do have the apartment there if anyone is so inclined as to make the trip. She will not need a caregiver while in the hospital but will when she gets out. I have someone already scheduled for the end of October and first week of November. I will let everyone know if we have additional needs. Right now things are a bit up in the air since they are not sure how she will respond to the treatment and how long it will take her body to recover.
